From airport transfers and concert shuttles to prom night, wedding transportation, corporate shuttles, and long-distance charters, you'll find the right bus for every occasion through a large network of transportation companies serving Olympia and the South Sound. Here's what you can book right here!
olympia airport transportation Easy Airport Shuttle Bus Rentals in Olympia
It's easier than ever to arrange airport transportation for your group in Olympia! Because Olympia Regional Airport (OLM) handles general aviation only, most groups traveling commercially fly through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) (17801 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98158), about 60 miles north on I-5, or Portland International Airport (PDX) (7000 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97218), roughly 110 miles south. A charter bus or minibus rental takes the stress of that drive completely off your plate — no coordinating carpools, no fighting I-5 traffic in multiple cars, no hunting for parking at SEA or PDX.
At SEA, commercial buses use the designated ground transportation zones on the lower arrivals roadway outside baggage claim — make sure your whole group is together and luggage is collected before calling the bus forward, since curbside time is limited. At PDX, the same rule applies on the arrivals level. Whether you need a sprinter van for a small executive group or a full-size 56-passenger coach for a large delegation, Laceycharterbuscompany.com helps you find and compare the right airport shuttle in seconds.
Call 360-706-1090 to book your Olympia airport transportation today!
olympia concert transportation Explore the Olympia Music Scene with a Charter Bus
Ready to compare concert buses for your next show? Olympia's performing arts scene centers on the Washington Center for the Performing Arts (512 Washington St SE, Olympia, WA 98501), which hosts touring acts, Broadway productions, and local performances year-round — buses stage on Washington St SE and 5th Ave SE since there's no dedicated large-vehicle lot. For bigger shows, Olympia groups regularly charter buses north to Seattle venues like Climate Pledge Arena (334 1st Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109) for Kraken games and major concerts, or to Tacoma venues about 30 miles up I-5.
A concert bus rental keeps your whole group together from the first pickup to the last drop-off — no surge pricing, no splitting up for rideshares, no one person stuck driving while everyone else has a great time. Party buses with built-in bars, LED lighting, and Bluetooth sound systems are a popular pick for concert nights when the celebration should start on the ride there! Compare available buses and pricing from a network of companies serving Olympia in seconds.

Minibuses seating 15 to 35 passengers are a great fit for smaller teams, while full-size motorcoaches handle larger workforces with room to spare — and amenities like WiFi and power outlets mean your employees can start their day productively on the ride in. I-5 through the Olympia corridor backs up reliably during morning and evening commutes, so one employee shuttle bus beats sending a dozen cars into that same bottleneck every single day. Yes, charter buses between Olympia and Seattle are one of the most popular long-distance routes in the network. Whether you're heading to a Seahawks game at Lumen Field, a Mariners game at T-Mobile Park, a Kraken game at Climate Pledge Arena, or a conference in downtown Seattle, one charter bus keeps your whole group together and lets I-5 traffic be someone else's problem.

Yes! Because Olympia is Washington's state capital, government group transportation is a year-round need — and especially high-demand from January through April during the legislative session. Charter buses and minibuses are available for shuttling state agency staff, legislative delegations, lobbyist groups, and conference attendees between the Capitol Campus (416 Sid Snyder Ave SW), downtown hotels, conference centers, and other state facilities. Laceycharterbuscompany.com makes it easy to compare vehicles and pricing for government group transportation through a large network of providers serving Olympia.

The right bus size depends on your headcount and how much luggage your group is bringing. As a general guide: sprinter vans work well for groups of 8–14; minibuses seat 15–35 passengers and are great for shorter local trips around Olympia and Thurston County; party buses seat 15–50 and come with premium entertainment amenities; and full-size charter buses seat up to 56 passengers with large undercarriage luggage bays — ideal for long-distance trips to Seattle, Portland, or Spokane. When you use the quote tool, enter your exact headcount and Laceycharterbuscompany.com will show you the right vehicle options for your group.
Call 360-706-1090 if you're not sure which size fits best!
Yes, and it's one of the most popular uses for a party bus or minibus rental in Olympia! The Thurston County area has a growing wine and craft beer scene, including Fish Tale Brewing, Wilridge Winery Olympia, and Scatter Creek Winery about 20 miles out. Day trips to Tacoma breweries or further-afield wine country are easy to arrange too.
You set the stops and the schedule — a party bus or minibus keeps your whole group together from the first tasting to the last. Use the quote tool or call 360-706-1090 to plan your Olympia wine tour bus!
For most Olympia trips, booking three to six months in advance gives you the best vehicle selection and pricing. Book even earlier — six months or more — for high-demand dates like prom season (late April–May across Thurston County school districts), graduation weekends in June, the Capital City Marathon in May, and Seattle Seahawks or Mariners game days. Legislative session months (January–April) also see elevated demand for government and corporate transportation in Olympia.
Waiting until the last minute almost always means higher prices and fewer options, so the sooner you compare, the better! Call 360-706-1090 to lock in your date today.
Any Destination, Any Time!
Hit These Olympia Destinations With a Charter Bus Rental
In Olympia, your group has no shortage of incredible destinations to explore — and a charter bus or minibus makes getting there easy! From the iconic Capitol Campus to the waterfront at Percival Landing and the trails of the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, here are six great Olympia-area destinations your group can reach by bus!
Use the previous and next buttons, the left and right arrow keys, or swipe to browse six destinations.
Washington State Capitol Campus
The Washington State Capitol Campus is one of the most striking government complexes in the country. The Legislative Building's dome is one of the largest masonry domes in the United States and a defining feature of the Olympia skyline. The campus is open to the public year-round, with free guided tours of the Legislative Building available.
Groups visiting for tours, school field trips, or government business stage buses on Sid Snyder Ave SW or Capitol Way S, since there is no dedicated large-vehicle lot on campus. High-demand visit dates include the legislative session from January through April, Inauguration Day, and major state ceremonies. The campus grounds also include the Temple of Justice, the Governor's Mansion, and beautifully maintained formal gardens — making it a compelling destination for civic education groups and general visitors alike.
Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge
The Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is a 3,000-acre estuary at the southern end of Puget Sound, where the Nisqually River meets the tidal flats — one of the most important bird habitats in the Pacific Northwest. The refuge is a top destination for school field trips, birding tours, nature photography groups, and environmental education programs. Large vehicles use the main parking lot off Brown Farm Rd NE; an entrance fee applies.
The refuge's five-mile Twin Barns Loop Trail is fully accessible and offers stunning views of the estuary and Mount Rainier on clear days. Spring and fall migration seasons bring spectacular concentrations of shorebirds and waterfowl, making those the most popular times for group visits. Reservations for guided group programs are available through the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
Hands On Children's Museum
The Hands On Children's Museum is one of the most popular school field trip destinations in Thurston County, drawing students from across the South Sound region for interactive, curriculum-connected exhibits. The museum focuses on science, technology, and the arts through hands-on play and exploration, with exhibits designed for children from infancy through age 10. The building sits three blocks from Capitol Lake in downtown Olympia.
Street parking on Jefferson St NE is the primary bus drop-off option — buses unload on Jefferson St NE and stage nearby on adjacent blocks while the group visits. The museum offers group rates and educator resources for school visits. Advance reservations are strongly recommended for school groups, especially during the busy spring field trip season from March through May.
Percival Landing Park
Percival Landing Park is Olympia's beloved waterfront boardwalk along Budd Inlet, stretching along the downtown waterfront with views of the Capitol dome, the Olympic Mountains, and the marina. The park is a popular gathering spot for group walks, outdoor events, and waterfront dining, and it connects to the Olympia Farmers Market just a few blocks away. Buses drop off on Thurston Ave NW or Capitol Way N, with staging on those same corridors while the group explores.
The park hosts community events throughout the year, including the Olympia Harbor Days tugboat festival in late August and various summer waterfront concerts. It's an ideal starting or ending point for a group day in downtown Olympia, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the Farmers Market.
Tumwater Falls Park
Tumwater Falls Park is a scenic gem along the Deschutes River in Tumwater, just south of Olympia. The park features a series of dramatic waterfalls — including the picturesque upper and lower Tumwater Falls — set amid mature trees and walking trails. It's a popular destination for school field trips, nature outings, family reunions, and photography groups.
The park is free to enter, and buses stage on Deschutes Way SW since the parking area is sized for standard vehicles. The adjacent Tumwater Historical Park adds a layer of local history to any group visit, with the restored Henderson House Museum and the site of Olympia Brewing Company's original operations. The falls are most impressive during the winter and early spring rainy season, when the Deschutes runs high and fast.
The Evergreen State College
The Evergreen State College (2700 Evergreen Pkwy NW, Olympia, WA 98505) is one of Washington's most distinctive public universities, known for its interdisciplinary, student-designed academic programs and its 1,000-acre forested campus on the western edge of Olympia. The campus includes the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center, a working organic farm, a marine research station on Eld Inlet, and the Daniel J. Evans Library. Evergreen hosts commencement in June — one of the highest-demand bus dates in the Olympia area — along with public lectures, arts events, and community programs throughout the year.
Groups visiting for campus tours, academic events, or commencement ceremonies access the campus via Evergreen Pkwy NW off Cooper Point Rd. The college's commitment to sustainability and the arts makes it a compelling destination for educational group visits from schools and community organizations across the region.
